Rooms named after the island’s plants
Nature knows all the answers – and all we need for a balanced and high-quality life can be found in its bosom. We simply need to take a look around, listen to nature’s whisper and find that sprout, herb, spice, flower or tree that will be beneficial for our health in particular times.
The island of Krk is known for its extremely rich variety of flora, which inspired us to name the rooms after the most recognisable medicinal plants. One of these is the “Barbašova Lazarkinja” – an autochthonous variety, growing only on the Island of Krk.
The colour themes of our rooms reflect particular medicinal flowers that beneficially impact your stay in the room and whose use can help revitalize the body and ensure our well-being.
The rooms are dominated by the colour of immortelle = yellow (flower of immortality), the colour of dried lavender (lavender), which is soothing, and the colour of dried olive leaves, which regulates pressure. While taking walks around the village, by the sea and in our garden, we find all these plants and many others. We inhale their scent, tasting them, letting their healing properties take effect on us, while we take home a part of their unforgettable scent that fills the body and soul.
The key mission of this story is for people to again recognise and understand that nature endows us with everything we need and that it’s all a continuously repeating cycle of birth, growth, development and uniting with nature, completing the infinite circle of life.
